Exam Mindfulness Support For Year 11 and Year 13 Students

This support has been put together by Victoria Spencer, a certified Mindfulness Coach with a professional background in Child Psychology and Neuroscience. By understanding how the brain responds to stress she helps students bypass the mental blocks that often occur during exams. Her experience isĀ built on years of supporting children and families through high-pressure environments where resilience isn't just a concept, but a necessity.


The goal for our students is to settle the noise of exam anxiety, allowing their natural ability and hard work to take the lead. Victoria will talk through mindfulness techniques which focus on slowing the mind down and giving students practical strategies to combat anxiety. We want them to walk into that room feeling quiet, capable, and in control.


We are sharing this guidance and support here for students to access and for parents to support their child at home practising these mindfulness techniques. Victoria explains in her videos how to use these techniques before exams when revising, on the day of exams and also after exams and how to clear the mind ready for the next one.
