Welcome to Ashlawn School

 Home
Ashlawn is situated two miles from Rugby town centre on the edge of open countryside. We are a bilateral school, offering places to students of all abilities. We attract students from Rugby and the surrounding area. The school currently has about 1650 students on roll, 110 teachers and an active support staff. There are 350 students in the Sixth Form following a variety of one and two year courses. In addition there is full access to the school and the curriculum for students with physical disabilities.

Ashlawn is a warm, happy school. Our outstanding facilities and resources complement a positive, purposeful atmosphere in which everyone works hard and with pride. Our science laboratories utilise the latest state-of-the-art equipment, while computers and Information Communication Technology enjoy a high profile throughout the school. We are constantly updating our hardware and software within the five networked IT suites. Integrated Learning Systems, the Internet and Computer-Assisted Design are used as additional learning tools. From Sports Hall to Drama Studio, from Music Suite to Sixth Form Study Centre, from bright, airy, stimulating classrooms to up to the minute Design Technology rooms, Ashlawn is about providing the very best opportunities for students and staff to grow and flourish.

Ashlawn is an exciting place in which to learn. We nurture young people in every aspect of their growth as individuals and as learners through these important years in their lives. We are proud of our students, who leave school as confident young adults. They are well prepared and ready to meet the challenges of the world of work or further study, and to continue to enjoy learning for the rest of their lives.
