Well done to the eleven Year 13 students who took part in The Duke of Edinburgh‟s Award Gold Practice Expedition on the 15th and 16th April in the Peak District. Although they had more than their fair share of fog, wind and a little rain they all performed brilliantly and are hoping for better weather for their qualifying expedition in Snowdonia later this year. On Wednesday 8th December 2 students from Ashlawn School competed against other local secondary schools to qualify for the Regional Final of ‘Young Chef of the Year'.
