The BTEC National Diploma in Sport is designed to provide specialist workrelated qualifications in a range of sporting sectors, such as sports coaching and work in the leisure sector. They give learners the knowledge, understanding and skills that they need to prepare them for employment or further education.

The qualification offers an engaging programme of 100% internally assessed coursework for those who are clear about the area of employment that they wish to enter.

Entry Requirements
5A* - C GCSE's to include:
- 2 science GCSE's at grade C or above
- GCSE P.E. at grade C or above is not prerequisite but is strongly recommended
- to be playing at least one sport on a regular basis at club standard

High Education vocational qualifications, e.g. BTEC Higher National Certificate in Sport; Degree in Sport Studies/Sport Science/Coaching and Exercise Science
