Course Title | Maths Further | Awarding Body | Edexcel | Course Level | AS & A2 | Course Description  | Further Mathematics is a second qualification taken in addition to A Level Mathematics. Students are required to study two further modules in core mathematics (FP1, and one of FP2 or FP3). Students will also study Statistics, Decision 1 and two further applied maths modules (eg Mechanics 3 and 4 or Statistics 2, Decision 2).
Further Pure 1,2 & 3: study hyperbolic functions, complex numbers, vector geometry, differential equations, matrix algebra plus extended work on inequalities, series, trigonometry and numerical methods.
Statistics 2 involves the study of discrete and continuous distributions and hypothesis testing.
