On Wednesday 24th February students in Ashlawn School, Year 13, and invited participants from Rugby High School and Avon Valley had the chance to engage in a political discussion in Ashlawn's own take on BBC Question Time. In the run up to the General Election, all the major parties were represented including Rugby candidates Andy King of Labour & Mark Pawsey of the Conservatives. Also on the panel were councillor Sue Peach (Lib Dem); former Ashlawn student David Railton and local Rev. Alan Scolland.

Awards

On Wednesday 8th December 2 students from Ashlawn School competed against other local secondary schools to qualify for the Regional Final of ‘Young Chef of the Year'.
