Wind Turbine
Ashlawn School launched a wind turbine generator on 6th July 2007.
Expected to produce up to 10% of the schools electricity, statistics recorded from the turbine will be used across several subject areas including Maths, ICT, Science and Geography.

On Wednesday 8th December 2 students from Ashlawn School competed against other local secondary schools to qualify for the Regional Final of ‘Young Chef of the Year'.
