Ashlawn is a popular and oversubscribed co-educational, comprehensive, bi-lateral school with 1659 students on roll, 345 of whom are in the Sixth Form.  We were designated a Science College in September 2005, re-designated in January 2008, and awarded High Performing Status in the Spring
Term 2008.  We have recently achieved a second specialism in Leadership which will provide many opportunities for the school and its stakeholders. In addition we have excellent ICT facilities with full Internet access across 6 ICT suites, banks of laptops and interactive whiteboard technology.

Senior IT Technican

£16,830 - £19,126
37 Hours Per Week

We are seeking to appoint a Senior IT Technician within the school to be responsible for the School’s helpdesk, website and to provide technical support to end users.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline, or several years of relevant experience, have detailed knowledge of ICT hardware and software and their integration and hold excellent technical knowledge.

On Wednesday 8th December 2 students from Ashlawn School competed against other local secondary schools to qualify for the Regional Final of ‘Young Chef of the Year'.
