The Eastern Warwickshire School Sport Partnership is offering FREE Swimming Lessons in May Half Term.

The Eastern Warwickshire School Sport Partnership is delighted to announce that we are able to offer further FREE intensive swimming lessons to children attending schools in Rugby during May half term.

This opportunity is open to children in year 4, 5, 6 and 7 who are currently unable to swim 25 metres. The intensive top-up swim programme will provide children with 5 half hour sessions from Monday 25th May to Friday 29th May at Ken Marriot Leisure Centre in Rugby. All sessions will be led by a qualified swimming teacher and the ratio will be 1 teacher to 8 pupils.

There will be one session each day from 9am to 9.30am. There are a total of 32 places available and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

We may offer unfilled places to children in year 3 and year 2 nearer the time. A waiting list is in operation for this.

Children must attend all five sessions at the allotted time.

To book a FREE place on this course, please contact the School Sport Partnership between 9.30am and 2pm Monday to Friday on 01788 812549 extension 304 or by email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
