Ashlawn School Music Department is proud to announce that we are beginning a wonderful collaboration with Yamaha Music School.

This opportunity is unique to the area and will allow students to access specialist equipment, cutting edge technology and innovative teaching methods.

We are offering students from the Rugby area the chance to learn to drums and percussion as part of the Yamaha Music Education system with specialist Yamaha staff. The lessons are taught in groups and students learn to play on individual equipment provided for the lessons.

Lessons will take place weekly at Ashlawn School, in the Rock Suite in Mu1. The lessons are on Thursday after school from 5pm or 6pm, lasting for 50 minutes. The cost for this tuition is £60 per term, and for students at Ashlawn School, this includes access to equipment for practice during school opening hours.

If you are interested in finding out more about this exciting new opportunity, please speak directly to Mr Humphries in Mu1 to register your interest or call Jeremy Dibb on Tel: 01788 575489, Mobile: 07909 873115 or Email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. There will be a launch event on Thursday 17th January. As places are very limited, please call in advance to ensure that you have a space.
