Science and Careers Fair - Saturday 10th July 2010

Rugby High School and Ashlawn School, Rugby are both Science Specialist schools and joined together to present a fantastic day out for the young people of Rugby and surrounding areas.

The event was held at Ashlawn School on Ashlawn Road in Rugby, and hosted a variety of Science Technology, Engineering and Maths related workshops, presentations demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages.

End of Term - Early Closure

‘Flying High’ Aviation Evening

Lower school students from Ashlawn School were joined by pupils from Paddox, English Martyrs, Hillmorton, Bilton Junior, and Dunchurch Schools on Wednesday for a practical workshop getting to grips with the basics of flight.

Consultation Evenings

We are considering introducing subject consultation evenings where parents can come into school to discuss the progress of their son/daughter with their subject teacher. This will be for parents of students in Years 9-13 to discuss their son/daughter’s progress in exam subjects.

Our trip to Land Rover, Gaydon was an amazing experience. We went to Landover on the 7/7/09 at 9:00 about 17 of us went with Mrs Taylor and Mr Cunningham, we went in a mini bus and when we got there a person that worked there told us what we would be doing throughout the day.
